IMG 0466 150x150 Kick Start Your MarketingStarting in New York, I attended Fabienne Fredricksen’s Get More Clients Tour, which was a short afternoon event. Fabienne is someone I have followed for some time and, you may recall, I even suggest her product “the client attraction system” in this blog, as it is something I own and value.

It was fabulous to meet her in person, and the event was just what I needed. I had implemented quite a bit of the client attraction system in my business, but of late had not been consistent with the approach (ie my marketing), so this event was just the kick start I needed.

Here are a few things that really stuck with me:

The money I make is affected by the marketing I do.

Now you’re probably thinking, duh I know that. Well, yes, so did I, but the kicker for me was when she said this:

“Consistency + reliability = trust”

And trust is just one component of the ‘know, like and trust’ factor that must be present for any sales conversion.

Yes, I’ve been consistently inconsistent with my marketing (as Fabienne likes to put it). And that stops right here, right now.

I have just devised a marketing plan on the plane while travelling to my next conference in Seattle.

Starting blogging and sending my newsletter is priority one, and well you’re reading it. Yay me!

My next action is to revisit Fabienne’s client attraction system upon my return home, which coincides with my new branding that is happening soon. Refresh the brand, refresh the marketing!

If you’re feeling a bit stuck or stifled in your business at the moment, head to an event, get some inspiration and get into action!

As Fabienne says, “Take a no excuses approach”.
