Do you need help to be your best?

do-you-need-help-to-be-your-best

We need someone to clear the tracks, provide a solution to the lack of movement and get our momentum going again. Just like my trainer is able to see what I am capable of achieving in my fitness, so is a business coach for your business. They can often provide ideas and solutions to your non movement that you can't see, simply because you are the one stuck there, trying hard to move, but unable to see the situation from the outside. Be an Action Jackson

Could you tell me right now exactly what you will be doing for the remainder of the week? Some of you will give me a resounding yes. Others will say no, I don’t work like that Alycia; I’m too creative or I go with the flow. How's that working for you? Have you achieved all your goals up until now? Have you made progress on those fab ideas you've had? Your business is growing purposefully? No? I thought so. Being fluid and in the moment is just not going to push you - or your business - forward purposefully, regardless of how spiritual and connected to source you are. Read More »

I failed but that’s okay…

i_failed_but_thats_ok

Do you set goals only to feel frustrated and disappointed when they’re not met? This happened to me this quarter. I set some specific bold goals to really move my business forward and did not achieve them. All was not lost though; I achieved my financial goals - smashed them in fact. But, I'm a bit of a doer, and to not achieve my goals left me feeling a little down on myself.  The reality is I wasn't slacking off; after all I wouldn't have achieved my financial goals if that was the case. But my attention was diverted to business foundation matters, resourcing up, establishing new clients and an opportunity that took up such a considerable amount of time that in the end I decided to let it go. Are your numbers pie in the sky?

numbers-pie-sky

I love a new calendar year – it’s so exciting with so many possibilities. I particularly love the planning process which I find invigorating and motivating. I enjoy planning for the New Year and setting bold goals for my life and my business. I always come up with some numbers to go with the process, for example, a revenue goal of $250,000 for the year. Then bang! The New Year starts and we’re off! Read More »

Grow Your Business Through Regular Review and Planning

grow-your-business-through-regular-review-and-planning

There's no point spending time creating plans for these areas of your business if you’re not going to review their status. This is your reminder to review, but where to start? Start with your goals. What were your goals? How are they tracking? Perhaps you wanted to attract four new clients per month, launch a new product line or increase your average daily sale by $X amount. Whatever the goal, it must be tracked so that you can see its impact on the financials. Read More »

Your Financial Plan doesn’t have to be painful

your-financial-plan-doesnt-have-to-be-painful

The mere mention of a financial plan can send business owners into a tailspin. It doesn’t have to be this way, it can be as simplistic or as complicated as you make it. A financial plan will help you determine what revenues you can, will and/or need to achieve based on the expenses you will incur. They can be in ... Read More »

A new year and renewed focus

a-new-year-a-new-focus

I’ve studied time management and productivity in quite a bit of depth. The common thread is planning and focus. You can’t possibly focus on your 'important tasks' if you have not thought about what they are and planned to work them into your day. Read More »

Mapping your money Alexis Neely style

mapping-you-money

I listened to a free call given by Alexis Neely and Dave Dee about creating your own money map for your business and life. In my opinion it was an awesome call. For me at least it has brought together the steps into a logical format that explains why each step relies on the other. And for a free call it gave loads of useful info (as you can see by the length of this post!) Read More »
